JOB DETAILS:
Seraphy Dental Clinic is a fully Zambian owned private dental facility established in January 2020. To meet the growing demand for dental services, the clinic seeks to engage a trained and experienced Dental Therapist.

DUTIES
• Examine individuals requesting care and diagnose their dental/oral conditions and prescribe dental/oral treatment or refer individual for specialist consultation
• Perform basic and routine dental procedures in compliance with regulations and assist the Senior Dental Therapist/Dental Surgeon with complex dental procedures
• Prepare the examination room for treatment by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready for treatment
• Assist the Senior Dental Therapist/Dental Surgeon during complex procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs throughout a procedure
• Counsel and educate patients on recommended oral hygiene and related conditions including general promotion and outreach on oral health
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Protect patients’ rights by maintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Dental Therapist/Dental Surgeon

QUALIFICATIONS
• Grade Twelve (12) Certificate or its equivalent
• A Diploma in Clinical Dentistry or its equivalent
• Must be registered with HPCZ with a valid practicing license
• At least two (2) years working experience preferred. One (1) year experience may be considered.
• Computer literate
