HUMAN RESOURCE ADMINISTRATION OFFICER – LUSAKA (x1)

The Required Skills for this Role Include:
• Recruiting, screening, interviewing and appointing new staff and ensuring that new employees are inducted into the organisation.
• Ensuring that job titles, organograms and job descriptions are updated as necessary
• Supporting individuals and managers in developing team and individual goals that are relevant to their BU and aligned to business priorities and customer requirements
• Ensuring that managers have honest performance conversations during 1:1’s, mid-year and year end reviews
• Preparing, updating and maintaining staff performance appraisal records
• Providing a secretarial service and maintaining records of all the panel meetings in the business.
• Applying / interpreting company policy and legal procedures to deal with IR cases, and advising management and workers.
• Implementing provisions of the collective agreement and conditions of employment in the promotion of harmonious employee relations
• Interpreting grievance and disciplinary procedures to ensure fair and timeous resolution of all cases
• Resolving conflict / employee relations issues within the IR legal framework.
• Supporting, monitoring and tracking graduate development.
• Supporting and managing the internship program.
• Working with managers, Supervisors and individuals to understand and identify training and development needs.
• Scheduling training programs and development interventions.
• Ensuring timely processing of key HR information and managing personnel data on the HRIS system.
• Managing the time and attendance system and addressing any non-compliance.
• Administration of procedures and policies regarding leave, advances, loans and other benefits to conform by conditions of service
• Compiling monthly reports on manpower statistics and other employee related issues for management decision making
• Updating all employee records relating to personal information, leave, loans, etc.
• Maintaining up to date and correct company records concerning promotions, transfers, redeployment, etc.
• Preparing and analysing monthly HR Reports and dashboards. By observing trends, proposing and implementing actions to sustain positive results.
• Engaging new recruits in the HR System, capturing all relevant employee details.
• Terminating employees in the HR System who leave the company for various reasons as soon as they are officially terminated.
• Updating employee details that are reclassified for various reasons e.g. promotions, transfers, change of job titles etc.

The Required Qualifications are:
• Grade 12 Certificate
• Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of hands on Human Resource experience.
• Must be a Member of The Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management
