Job Description:
The Design Supervisor reports to the Director of Operations, and is responsible for supervising construction sites and running construction projects. The Design Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on-time and within budget. Safety and customer service are critical aspects to the Design Supervisor‘s success.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and organize job site and daily log
• Plan, design, implement, and supervise all construction related work on projects
• Demonstrate ownership of time tracking and successful project completion
• Manage and ensure project quality control and client satisfaction
• Adhere to project specifications and construction documents
• Coordinate scheduling and daily calls with trades throughout the project life cycle to drive timely job execution
Tactful mature demeanour with well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities
Able to listen and follow detailed direction and instruction
Able to read and follow complex construction drawing and specifications
Strong organizational skills
Available to work occasional weekends if project schedule requires
Five years of construction industry experience .
