JOB DETAILS:
Kafubu Water and Sanitation Company is a Water Utility Company on the Copperbelt Province, providing quality water and sanitation services to its customers in Ndola, Luanshya and Masaiti. In its continued strides to sustain and improve service delivery to its esteemed customers, the Company seeks to employ highly motivated and goal oriented individuals in the positions of:
Overall purpose of the job
To manage the provision of safe water and sanitation services and maintenance of infrastructure in order to meet customer needs and comply with environmental regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Managing effectively the development, review and implementation of technical policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manuals in order to guide the operations of the Directorate
• Managing effectively the operations of the water production and water supply network in order to provide adequate and consistent safe water. Managing effectively the operations of the sanitation services in order to protect the public and the environment.
• Managing effectively the installation and maintenance of meters in order to monitor consumption and facilitate billing of customers.
• Managing effectively the maintenance of plant, equipment, infrastructure and motor vehicles in order to maintain availability, utilisation and prolong their lifespan
• Managing effectively monitoring of water production quantities and distribution in order to identify discrepancies and implement remedial measures to reduce non-revenue water

Qualifications and Experience
• Full form V/Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent
• 10 years with 5 years at Management Level


Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
