JOB DETAILS:
Position: Dog Handler
• What We’re Looking For: At LAWS, we are on the lookout for compassionate individuals who are eager to learn and care for abandoned, abused, and stray cats and dogs. No formal degree, certificate, or diploma is necessary. We value hands-on experience, and if you’ve spent up to a year caring for animals, consider that a fantastic bonus!

Your Mission:
As a valued Dog Handler at LAWS, your days will be filled with tasks that make a tangible difference in the lives of our furry companions:
• Keeping kennels, dog houses, cages, and shelter surroundings impeccably clean and disinfected.
• Preparing and serving nourishing meals to our canine and feline friends. Providing baths and shampooing when required.
• Assisting in handling animals during inoculations and treatments. • Ensuring our four-legged residents receive daily walks and exercise.
• Assisting in rescuing dogs and cats when the need arises.

Location:
LAWS animal shelter at Sadzu Road, Lusaka in the Lusaka City Council Year that is next to the back entrance to ZESCO
Employment Details:
Work Term:
Begin with a 3-month probation period, followed by a one-year contract upon successful completion of probation.
Work Language:
English is the primary language spoken here.
Hours:
You’ll dedicate 45 hours per week to this noble cause, with overtime provided when necessary.
