JOB DETAILS:
Greensprout preparatory school is an International School with state of the art infrastructure and Educational tools situated in the heart of Lusaka. The School has Combined the Montessori and Reggio Emelia Principles of teaching to meet the needs of a variety of little Learners. The children range in age from 6 months to 5 years.
Greensprout is looking for Preschool Teachers or Early Childhood Educators (5) who will be providing the sprouts with the fundamental knowledge and skills they need to succeed in Elementary school.

Preschool Teachers Duties and Responsibilities
The Preschool Teacher’s duties and responsibilities will include; –
• Developing age appropriate lesson plans for Students with different abilities
• Teaching social skills through guided activities and assessing student’s projects
• Teaching letter recognition, Numbers, Phonics and awareness of nature and science
• Integrating Competencies, goals and objectives into lesson plans
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of children
• Establish and enforce rules of behavior for children in their classrooms
• Identify children showing signs of emotional, developmental, or health-related problems, and discuss them with supervisors, parents or guardians, and child development specialists
• Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help

Early Childhood Educator Requirements
• The successful candidate will be a qualified and registered Early Child hood Educator, With not less than 2-years’ experience in Early Childhood Education. The Candidate must be in Possession of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, a Degree will be an added advantage.
• Enjoy dealing with children across a range of ages, especially 2-5 years old.
• Self-driven and independent individual
• Must have vast knowledge in the Maria Montessori and Reggio Emilia Principles of Teaching.
• Must have immense Love for Children
• Must have Taught Letterland for over a year plus
