JOB DETAILS:
We are currently looking to hire an energetic and innovative person to fill the position of food technologist. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Lead and oversee ongoing production of food stuffs
• Support business growth through product innovation and improvement initiatives
• Make product samples for internal and external customers
• Development and implementation of innovative products in the food industry taking into account its cost and quality
• Manage the food safety program including achieving compliance with any external standards
• Providing technical expertise and support to management regarding food and beverages
• Perform audits to investigate and identify concerns and areas of opportunity within the food industry.
• Efficient planning scheduling and execution of a wide range of research projects of food products
• Maintain recipe data base

Qualifications
• Full grade 12 certificate
• At least a diploma in Food science or any related course.
• At least 2years experience in the food manufacturing industry.
• Must possess a HACCP certification

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Professional Certificate
