JOB DETAILS:
• The Director of Sixth Form, University, and Careers is a leadership role and forms part of the College Management Committee. Trident College is one of Zambia's leading secondary independent, coeducational boarding schools. This role involves overseeing and guiding students' academic, personal, and career development in the sixth form, assisting them in their transition to university or other post-secondary education, and supporting their career aspirations.
• The Head of the Sixth Form works closely with students, alumni, parents, teachers, and external stakeholders to ensure the student’s progress and future success.
Primary Purpose of the Job
1. Provide Academic Guidance to pupils.
2. University and College Admissions: Local and Abroad
3. Careers Guidance and Work Experience
4. Personal and Social Development
5. Leadership Development
6. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
7. Marketing Sixth Form Programme
8. Communicating with and organising events for
Alumni In addition to the primary role, the applicant will teach their subject speciality, offer activities in the co-curricular program and perform duties in the boarding houses.
Qualifications and Other Requirements
• The minimum requirement is a four-year professional teaching qualification with minimum five years of international teaching at a senior level.
