Job Description
• Coordinate the activities of Database Administration , Network and system administration and Business Intelligence and Analytics Team including among
• Installing, Maintain and upgrading the database server and application tools (Postgres SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB)
• Creating primary Database objects and storage structures after application developers
• Modifying the data base structure as necessary from information given by application developers
• Enrolling users and maintaining system security
• Monitor and manage database backups, logs, and journals together with systematic data restoration and/or recovery procedures as required
• Maintain various database documents
• Work closely with system developers on various on various design, development, documentation and testing activities
• Create and Maintain Data Dictionary
• End user advanced system support
• Turning all database instances
• Implements and enforces security for all instances
• Administers all database objects, including tables, indexes, views, sequences and procedures
• Assist with Impact analysis of any changes made to the database
• Responsible of physical database design
• Grant the appropriate rights on Users
• Optimize complex queries
• Manages the space on the server for backup, data files and all kind of logs
• System accessibility and availability monitoring
• System regular back up and health reporting
• End users network and system access issues support
• Other system administration and support
• End users data request support
• System framework compatibility and security features user acceptance and testing
• End user Security administration and Training
• Put in place business intelligence infrastructure for data analysis;
• Produce requirements for analytical reports production
• Synchronize production and archived IFMIS data to meet stakeholders requirements
• Ensure the BI infrastructure is part of the backup and recovery strategy for the entire IFMIS
• Ensure Compliance to existing legal framework for data retention and data disclosure
• Design standard and adhoc analytical reports that might be required from different stakeholders and MINECOFN departments
Job Profile
Bachelors' Degree in Information Technology(IT) or related discipline such as Computer Science, IT applied in Management with experience of 6 years as Oracle DBA or Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or with Linux Certification ;
Possession of relevant Post-graduate qualification with experience of 4 years as Database

• 5+ years’ experience in Applications support, Network or System administration environment;
• Hands-on desktop hardware troubleshooting experience;
• Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards;
• Ability to install, maintain , modify and upgrade both application and database servers
• Knowledge of technological current trends in the IT Infrastructure domain;
• Expertise in UNIX/LINUX based server systems;
• Prior experience in successful software implementation and quality assurance for integrated financial/payment system;
• Experience in working with security certificates (SSL) and security infrastructures;
• Understanding Networking and applications architectures;
• Proven experience in managing critical , highly available ICT systems;
• Being able to work under stressful situations
• Experience in working with Business intelligence and reporting tools such as Oracle bi, crystal reports, spagoBI,...
• Ability to lead the team and attain required results;
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
