Description:

Global Industries Limited wishes to invite qualified and reputable private companies to submit competing tenders to tender for the provision of supply of cleaning services.

Objective:

The purpose of this bidding is to invite reputable companies to submit proposals to Global Industries Limited for the provision of supply of cleaning services. Global Industries Limited will adjudicate and decide on the tenders submitted and the selected companies will be invited to the plant for further assessment. Global Industries Limited reserves the right to reject any or all bids received.

Scope of Works:

The scope of work is the provision of supply of cleaning services. The bidding companies must demonstrate the availability of appropriate skills among staff. They must demonstrate that it has adequate capacity in terms of professional staff with relevant expertise.

Minimum Requirements:

• The Service provider, among other duties will be expected to perform the following: • Cleaning services of office blocks and the corridors
• Cleaning services of the ablution blocks (Male & Female).
• Deep cleaning of the ablution blocks will be required at least once a month Cleaning agents, equipment and chemicals (including dishwashing);
• Cleaning of windows and glass doors, door handles
• Cleaning of crockery and cutlery;
• Quarterly deep cleaning of all floce tiles
• Windows including upstairs plus cobwebs removal
• Fumigation and pest control services (Quarterly) Empty and clean all bins from offices
• Collection of garbage from main bin daily and heap them at a designated area to be collected by assigned garbage collector within the vicinity Maintain all the lawns, trees, plants and flowers outside and within the vicinity.
• Clean, sweep and remove weeds on the entire premises and deposit trash to the designated areas;
• Water all the plants, lawns and remove all the weed
• Removal and disposal of the dried leaves from plants/tress and other waste materials generated
• Throughout the year observe all plants for signs of nutrient deficiencies and through the right fertilization treat to correct the deficiency
• And adhoc office duties for GIL e.g. setting up office tables of the boardroom'meeting rooms and offices e.t.c.

Qualification and requested information:

• PACRA Certification of Incorporation
• Valid ZRA Tax Clearance
• NAPSA Compliance Certificate
• Workers Compensation Compliance Certificate.
• Documented proof of existing previous clients
• Current rates for the various services offered
• Details of relevant jobs undertaken by the firm in previous years
• Certification from the Cleaning Association of Zambia

Submission:

All submissions must be sealed and clearly marked Expression Of Interest For The Supply Of Cleaning Services, should be addressed to the Chief Financial Officer, Global Industries Limited, P.O. Box 230112, Plot No. 3083 & 4303, Ndola-Zambia & should be deposited in the EOI Box available at security Block, on or before 15:00hrs PM on 23rd November 2022. Applications received after the specified date and time due to any reasons, including postal delay, shall not be considered. Offers submitted by fax, electronic medium or in any manmer other than specified above shall not be considered. The quoted rates shall not be less than the minimum wages of government and shall include all statutory obligations.
