COMPLETION OF WORKS ON THE EXISTING STRUCTURES

AT SHANGOMBA LODGE IN SHANGOMBO DISTRICT

The Council has received funding from the Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development under the Local Government Equalization Fund and now intends to use part thereof to cover eligible payments towards the procurement of the following works at Shangombo Lodge in Shangombo District of Westem Province for which this Invitation for Bid is issued:

a) Completion of minor works on two (2) 1x4 chalets; and

b) Completion of 1x8 self-contained rooms.

The Council hereby invites sealed bids from firms registered with the National Council for Construction in Category B or C, Grade 5 or 6 and possessing valid tax clearance certificate issued by the Zambia Revenue Authority to submit bids to undertake the completion works as aforestated.

Submission Procedure

Bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security of 2% of the bid price. The bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders as contained in the bidding document. All bids in sealed envelopes clearly marked 'Completion of works on the existing structures at Shangombo Lodge' shall be deposited in the tender box placed at the Reception, Civic Centre, Matebele Road, Shangombo on or before 12 April 2023 at 10 00 hours and any bids received after the said time and date will not be accepted:-

The bids will be opened soon after closing in the Council Chamber, Civic Centre, Shang'ombo in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.

Note that a mandatory site visit will be undertaken on Friday 17 March 2023 at 14 30 hours.
