Junior Software Engineer
Overview
Heroic Digital is seeking to hire a conscientious junior Software Engineer to work on new exciting web application and mobile apps. Heroic Digital will, however, consider a lesser experienced candidate providing they are willing and able to learn quickly.
The successful applicant will be working in unison with the whole team so there is huge potential to broaden their experience of the entire web design process and also learn from some successful and highly experienced individuals.
This is a permanent role with an initial 3 month probationary period.

Responsibilities
The role will include coding signed off designs into working web page templates in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript and then integrating those into content management systems. The role will include some client communication in order to keep clients informed of your progress as well as handling client feedback and support. The role will also necessitate providing estimates for tasks and timescales.

You have
• Computer Science Degree or mathematical background
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
• A passion for the web and an eagerness to learn
• Superb written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• An ability to work autonomously and manage your workload and deadlines effectively
• A readiness to embrace and use new approaches and to keep up-to-date with industry advances
• Ability to work remotely and occasionally on-site at our office.
Not essential but it would be good if you have
• Flutter development experience
• SQL development experience
• Blockchain experience
