Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise employees in all activities in the maintenance department; includes overseeing staffing and job development activities (hiring, training, employment performance management, promotions, corrective actions, terminations, etc.); develop communicate, and manage individual staff performance expectations that align with company goals.
• Fully participate and perform all duties within compliance of company safety, and environmental regulations; including company safety program, pre-shift meetings, and wearing appropriate PPE for task being performed.
• Plan, prioritize, and direct work based on facility needs, with input from management team.
• Perform regular walk-though of site and equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems to prevent downtime and incidents, monitor equipment to ensure working properly, and ensure repairs are completed timeously by maintenance team to maintain efficient operation.
• Perform preventative maintenance, repair or replace defective equipment or parts, diagnose mechanical problems and determine action needed to repair, replace, or request assistance as needed.
• Research and interpret industry standards and regulatory information to ensure compliance.
• Ensure appropriate inventory maintained to complete routine tasks.
• Ensure documentation completed timely, accurately, and legibly; including checklists, electronic records, estimates, etc.
• Produce regular reports as directed.


Job Skills:
• Understanding of mechanical maintenance, knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
• Basic computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of people within and outside the organization.
• Effective leadership skills
• Ability to read and understand measurements; and perform basic math
• Ability to remain focused on exceptional customer service both internally and externally.
• Ability to follow direction and use logical thought process to interpret oral and written communications and recommend alternative solutions to mechanical problems.
• Ability to complete documentation requirements.
• Ability to determine and utilize tools appropriate for assigned tasks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


  Job Qualifications:
• At least a relevant Engineering bachelor’s degree.
• At least three (3) years previous experience in capacity of Maintenance Manager or related management position
• Driver’s License
• Knowledge of the following software
• Plant Maintenance Software,
• Enterprise Resource Planning,
• General Office Programs
