JOB DETAILS:
Principal Accountabilities The role will be responsible for the accounting and finance functions to ensure preparation, analysis and maintenance of accurate and reliable accounting and financial records necessary for business operations in compliance with international standards and local statutory requirements. .
Primary Responsibilities;
• To compile and analyse financial information and to prepare financial statements including monthly, semi-annual and annual accounts;
• To maintain financial records in compliance with accepted policies and procedures of the Authority;
• To managing the Authority's payroll system;
• To pay all statutory obligations and ensure all internal and external reporting deadlines, including audit, tax, social security and third parties are met;
• To analyse financial information and recommend or develop efficient use of resources,
• To establish and ensure that appropriate accounting control systems required for the effective operations of the institution are implemented;
• To work with senior management so as to maintain a tight control environment;
• To manage all company assets and ensure they are in optimum state at all times and appropriately insured; and
• To perform any other task as may be delegated from time to time..

Educational Qualifications;
• Grade twelve (12) School certificate with 5 'O' levels with creditor better including Mathematics and English Language;
• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance; and
• Professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA;
• Relevant Experience and other Attributes;
• Must have 5-8-years in a similar role;
• Must be a member of ZICA;
• Must be an effective communicator;
• Must be computer literate with MS Office applications particularly excel;
• Must have good leadership skills;
• Must have attention to detail; and
• Must have excellent analytical skills..
