JOB DETAILS:

JOB PURPOSE:
To manage and undertake internal audit operations in order to ensure effective controls are adhered to in the utilisation of Agency funds.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Coordinates and undertakes timely, auditing of departments and sections in order to ensure adherence to stores and financial regulations.
• Ensures timely, preparation and submission of Internal Audit findings in order to facilitate decision making.
• Undertakes timely audit assignments in order to assess the effectiveness of the internal controls

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Education
• Full Form Vor Grade XII School Certificate
• Minimum Vocational/Professional qualifications Bachelor of Accountancy, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
• A fully paid up member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA). Minimum Relevant Pre-job experience
• A minimum of 5 years work experience with 3 years in a senior management position. Communication skills:
• Able to write comprehensive and analytical reports. Able to communicate effectively in English.

DUTY STATION
• The Manager Internal Audit under Business Regulatory Review Agency will be stationed in Lusaka.

DURATION OF ASSIGNMENT
• The position is on a three (3) year contract with a possibility for renewal.
