JOB DETAILS:
CAMCO GROUP which was established in 1998 and is headquartered in Shanghai, China. Camco is one of the largest suppliers of machinery in markets we operate in Africa which include Cameroon, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania and Zambia these being; agricultural equipment, construction equipment, heavy duty equipment, power generation equipment, motor vehicles and more. Camco now seeks to appoint suitable candidate in the following position:-

1. POSITION: ACCOUNTS SUPERVISOR (01)
Job Purpose:
• Supervising the Account and Finance Team in the day to day running of the business accounting, invoice processing and filing, maintain files, administrational duties, banking transactions, bookkeeping, preparing audit reports, statutory obligation (ZRA, NAPSA, NHIMA), financial reporting and using financial software and spread sheets of the business.
• Qualifications & Requirements:
• Degree in Accounting, ZiCA Advisory Level.
• 8 years relevant experience in supervisory position in Accounting and Finance.
• Must be a registered member of ZiCA.
• Conversant with Pastel, Quick books.
• Good reporting and communication skills.

2. POSITION: ACCOUNTANT (01)
Job Purpose:
• The job holder will be responsible for preparing monthly account reconciliations maintenance, analyse financial information and summarize financial status, handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings, reconcile accounts payable and receivable, compute taxes and prepare tax returns and assist in handling tax refunds, manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements, prepare audit financial transactions and reports, reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary, facilitate compliance with Zambian financial policies and regulations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum diploma in Accounting, ZiCA Licentiate.
• 5 years relevant experience in similar role.
• Must be a registered member of ZiCA.
• Conversant with Pastel, Quick books.

3. Position: Back-Up Cashier (01)
Job Purpose:
• The Back-up Cashier will be assisting in implementing a sound financial support system following the company’s standard operating procedures i.e Prepare payment vouchers supported with relevant invoices, file payment vouchers and receipts, handle petty cash payments, perform weekly petty cash reconciliation.

Qualifications & Requirements:
• Minimum diploma in Accounting, ZiCA Technician.
• 3 years relevant experience in similar role.
• Must be a registered member of ZiCA.
• Conversant with Pastel, Quick books or any accounting system.
