Client: Director’s Private Residence
Job Description:
• We are actively seeking a talented and versatile Private Chef for our Managing Director’s residence in Makeni, Lusaka. This position is perfect for someone who excels in preparing world cuisines, with a special focus on seafood and Chinese dishes, and possesses skills in table setting and serving to provide a comprehensive dining experience. Candidates already living in the area or willing to relocate will find this position particularly beneficial. A driver’s and/or motorcycle license will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
• Craft daily gourmet meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) specializing in a variety of world cuisines, with an emphasis on seafood and Chinese dishes.
Develop diverse, sophisticated menus catering to the family’s preferences and dietary needs.
Manage kitchen operations, including shopping, meal preparation, cooking, and maintaining cleanliness.
Efficiently set up and serve meals, ensuring elegant presentation and a smooth dining experience.
Plan and execute high-quality meals for social gatherings and special events, showcasing both culinary and hosting skills.
Uphold strict standards of food hygiene and safety.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a private chef, with expertise in various world cuisines, particularly seafood and Chinese.
Culinary certification or substantial professional experience is preferred.
Driver’s and/or motorcycle license desirable for various tasks.
Proficiency in table setting and serving to enhance dining experiences.
Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work autonomously.
Skillful in menu planning and presentation for upscale entertaining.
Excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and a hospitable nature.
