JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose:
To coordinate, supervise and undertake the provision of HIV prevention, treatment, care and support in order to facilitate provision of quality HIV services.

Main Responsibilities
• Ensures efficient management of nursing care services in order to improve and sustain quality patient care.
• Interprets and implements effectively policies, regulations and procedures in order to ensure compliance with set standards and targets.
• Supervises timely updating and maintenance of patients' records in order to facilitate efficient storage and retrieval of information
• Collects, maintains and supervises timely writing of reports in order to facilitate decision making
• Undertakes regularly analysis of site level performance in order to assess the impact of HIV/TB clinical care services and implement appropriate interventions
• undertakes effectively the formulation, implementation and review of HIV/TB action plans in order to ensure quality clinical care health services Undertakes effectively the preparation of the budgets to facilitate acquisition of financial resources in order to implement planned activities Undertakes regularly the maintenance and updating of the HIV/TB database, in order to facilitate accessibility of information, generation of reports and decision making
• Undertakes effectively monitoring, evaluation of HIV/TB clinical care services in the district and coordinates ECHO sessions in order to facilitate appropriate interventions.
• Undertakes effectively performance assessment and quality
• assurance/improvement for public health in order to ensure adherence to set standards and improve service delivery
• Undertakes effectively the provision of primary and secondary prevention programmes including VMMC, CaCx, Adolescents, Key Populations, etc in order to control new infections and avoid recurrence of infections Supervises effectively the utilization of human, financial and other resources in order to facilitate achievement of set objectives. Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills and Experience
• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate with Five (5) Credits or better including Mathematics, Science and English;
• BSc in Nursing
• Certificate in HIV/ART/PMTCT Adult and Paediatric care
• Basic training in Smartcare
• Experience with GRZ/PEPFAR funded projects will be an added advantage; • Good proficiency in oral and written English; and
• Good computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office:
• Must have high level of confidentiality and Integrity; Trustworthy and Honest
