JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
• To execute effective sales and relationship strategies, to coordinate, support and manage client portfolios to deliver sustainable client portfolio, balance sheet growth and profitability in the assigned segment portfolios.
Duties and Responsibilities
• To ensure growth in clients under the Commercial segment portfolios.
• To ensure growth of Depositors’ funds by developing and implementing appropriate segment growth strategies.
• To ensure that the Loans and Advances Portfolios grow efficiently and optimally to enhance profitability and that both portfolios are well diversified and profitable.
• Drive sales initiatives and process efficiencies to ensure income growth and minimize segment revenue leakage.
• To effectively initiate and follow up on sales leads for both new and existing portfolio clients.
• To agree, monitor and review performance of direct reports to ensure that they meet their performance objectives;
• Drive a strong sales performance culture across the network
• To conduct regular checks on service delivery to maintain agreed turn round time service standards to achieve customer satisfaction as encapsulated in the Customer Service Charter
• To handle expeditiously complaints and queries referred by subordinates to resolve customer queries and complaints.
• Supervises, motivates, Coaches, disciplines staff in the Department to achieve Sales objectives.
Qualifications and Experience
• Grade Twelve (12) certificate.
• Degree in Banking and Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accountancy, or other relevant equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years relevant work experience of broad-based Commercial / Banking experience
Required Competencies
• Strong customer relationship and sound understanding of products, policies, and procedures.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong business acumen and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of Sales and service management.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Customer/market orientated.
• A proven ability to deliver under pressure.
