JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
This is a senior rolethat will be reporting to the Director-Health Insurance Services and will beresponsible for managing a portfolio of employers/pension houses/affinitygroups etc (clients), ensuring registration of members onto the scheme.Further, the role will be responsible for the optimal collection ofcontributions from registered employers/members and manage key accounts withintheir portfolio in the quest to attain target numbers of principal membersunder the portfolio. .
Key Responsibilities
• To review, design and implement various policies and procedures for the registration and collection of contribution;
• To ensure registration of Clients under the portfolio including all the employees and beneficiaries thereon onto the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) as per Authority targets;
• To ensure optimal collection of contributions into the NHIS and generation of client information under the portfolio;
• To that all contribution returns are made with payment of contributions into the scheme and resolve any matters arising therefrom;
• To ensure timely reconciliations of returns and contributions made to the bank statement and to relay them to relevant departments in NHIMA;
• To manage lapse rates on the NHIS book and ensure they are within the Authority’s stipulated limits and co-ordinate this with relevant departments in NHIMA;
• To ensure detailed segmentation of the labour force for portfolio registrations through Portfolio Management principles;
• To resolve all queries from members and employers in line with regards registration and other service delivery matters;
• Effectively supervise staff and manage other non-human resources in order to meet the unit’s goals and targets;
• To be the primary contact point on all NHIMA matters for NHIS members through regular calls and periodic visitations from time to time, and
• To perform any other role as may be assigned from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience
• Grade twelve (12) School certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with a credit or better including Mathematics and English Language;
• First Degree in any field from a recognised University
