Job Description:
Content Production & Alignment with Partnership Standards
• The Regional Communications and Public Engagement lead, under the direction of the Regional Communications Director (RCD), will support the Field Office Communications Leads/Managers and ensure the production of high-quality content that is appropriate for their needs, easily accessible on Partnership platforms, and timely shared for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Data analysis will be part of this position to enhance decision-making. The Lead will work with Field Office Managers to use data analysis for key decision-making in the offices.
Public Engagement & Alignment with Partnership Standards
• To ensure active engagement of primary, secondary, and tertiary audiences in Field Offices (FO”s), the Communications, and Public Engagement Lead will support the Managers in their engagement efforts across all relevant digital platforms.
Training and Capacity Building
• Ensure each National Office and Field Office Communications Lead/Manager has a capacity building plans competencies for communications and Public Engagement working in close partnership with the RCD and People & Culture.
• The Regional Communications & Public Engagement Lead will collaborate with People & Culture, RCD, and FOs Communications Managers, to identify gaps and ensure capacity is built.
• Track compliance with all mandatory courses/training related to Communications. The Lead will actively drive the culture of continuous learning in FOs, management, and analysis, identifying tools and techniques to be implemented into World Vision operations.
HEA Communications
• Manage partnership content systems and requests proactively on MS Teams, and make sure Support Offices receive high-quality content via the content, media, and Disaster Management/Humanitarian Emergency (DM/HEA) chat rooms. This will be achieved in close collaboration with FOs Communications Managers.
Reporting
• Lead reviews and analysis of regional and FOs performance in conjunction with the RCD and Global Centre communications team and assist the FOs with a thorough analysis of social media performance, and decision-making in Senior Leadership Teams.
Internal Communication
• In partnership with the RCD, support FOs internal and staff engagement communications and internal engagements with staff.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
• At least eight years of progressively responsible and relevant professional work experience in communication, broadcast, and news media.
• Strong communication skills, and ability to facilitate the collection of photo, video, story, and social media resources.
• Ability to work in difficult and stressful conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, manage workload and meet deadlines.
• Proven field communications experience in emergency settings and/or fragile contexts.
• Proven ability to manage and grow a team.
• Full adherence to World Vision Child Protection, Code of Conduct, and Conflict of Interest policies.
Required Education, training, license registration, and certification
• A university degree in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or another related field
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
• Excellent leadership and project management skills in the communications, production, and creative/digital industries.
• A demonstrable track record of working and managing cross-cultural stakeholders and forging solid partnerships.
• Must have fieldwork experience and background/familiarity in emergency context preferred.
• Excellent technical communications skills in one or more of the following areas: editorial, production, design, and journalism
• Proven ability to produce high-quality multimedia content in the role of producer, executive producer, creative director, art director, or director.
• Must have a strong track record in international development, social justice, non-profit industry, international affairs, or politics.
• Agile work ethics – able to quickly develop, implement, learn, adapt, and change.
• Ability to identify and understand different audiences and utilize appropriate communication channels and content.
• Ability to define and strengthen organizational brand awareness and reputation through multiple channels.
• Must have experience leading/managing multiple and overlapping content production assignments across numerous contexts that engage, compel, and demonstrate knowledge, impact, and expertise.
• Proven ability to effectively manage teams and projects to deliver outcomes on time.
• Experience working and delivering content across both development and disaster/protracted crises contexts.
Travel and Work Environment Requirement
• The position requires the ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
• This position demands responsiveness to context, openness to working flexibly, and willingness to adjust according to operational realities.
Language Requirements
• Fluent English is essential; knowledge of the French and Portuguese languages can be an added advantage.
