Role Description
• Media 365 is seeking applications for Short-term Editor/Camera Assistant. The position is full-time, based in Lusaka, and will involve working on-site with our production team. As an Editor/Camera Assistant, you will work with our experienced team of professionals, providing crucial assistance in filming, editing, lighting, and sound. You will use your skills to help bring creative content to life and provide our clients with high-quality materials that make a meaningful impact.

Qualifications
• Professional mastery of video editing software and hardware is a must.
• Understanding of Cinematography, videography, directing, and sound techniques is essential
• Experience with light setups and sound equipment is a must
• Experience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitions
• Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
• Ability to manage many tasks in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with great attention to detail
• Proficiency in indigenous Zambian languages is a plus
• Ability to be cooperative in a group environment and have a team-oriented mindset
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar video production role
• Attention to detail
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life
• Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized products
• Educational qualification in Video Production, Film, or related field (Desirable)
