JOB DETAILS:
To provide mechanical operational and administrative support with all thrust boring and related work. Ensure maintenance of equipment and assist with transportation of materials:

Responsibilities
• Operate Thrust boring Machine.
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.
• Perform periodic checks on equipment to the machines are always in proper working order.
• Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations.
• Transportation of materials to designated towns.
• Carry out surveys with local authorities to establish wayleave.
• Obtain permit sign offs from stakeholders (utility companies and landowners).
• Stakeholder engagement and management during project lifecycle.
• Obtain internal approvals for permits.
• Process council permits
• On-site risk assessment and management
• Capture network footprint and maintain accurate records.
• Manage multiple teams.
• Plan and manage multiple tasks.
• Manage project costs.

Requirements
• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Diploma in Mechanical Eng or related field
• 2 years+ Experience in Thrust Boring
• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Proficiency in excel and google earth.
• Knowledge of GIS tools.
• Experience in a project environment
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Member of EIZ

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
