Invitation for Bids (IFB)
IFB No: MWDS/GRZ/DWSS/G/01/2021

The Government of the Republic of Zambia has released funds to the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation towards the supply and delivery of domestic water meters (pre-paid and post-paid) for commercial utilities companies namely, Lukanga, Southern, North-Western, Eastern, Chambeshi and Western as follows:
(a) Lot 1-Post-Paid Water Meters QTY: 24,434
(b) Lot 2-Pre-Paid Water Meters QTY: 1,085

Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations No. 63 of 2011

The tender document in English may be obtained upon a payment of a non-refundable fee of K1,000.00 or its equivalent in any convertible currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or bank certified cheque

Tender documents may be obtained from the Head - Procurement and Supplies Unit, Mukuba House, Dedan Kimathi Avenue, P.O. Box 50288, Lusaka, Zambia.

Submission Procedure
Bids must be delivered to and placed in the tender box at the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation, P.O. Box 50288, Mukuba House, Dedan Kimathi Avenue Lusaka Province, on or before Thursday, 25th November, 2021 at 11:00 hour's local time. Bids must be appropriately bound, sealed and labelled Electronic bidding will not be permitted The bidders are required to submit one (1 No. original and three (3 No.) copies of their bids.

Bids will be opened in the conference room at the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation - Lusaka Province in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
Late bids shall not be accepted.

All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration and it MUST be in the format provided
