Position Overview:
• Do you have a knack for spotting compelling personalities and booking them for engaging appearances? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking an empathetic, dynamic and resourceful Talent Booker to join our team for a popular talk show. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and recruiting guests with compelling personal stories and ensuring that our guests feel comfortable and supported, enabling them to share their experiences with vulnerability and authenticity.

Key skills and qualities important for this Role
• Cultural Competence and Sensitivity: An in-depth understanding of cultural, racial, gender, and socioeconomic issues. Knowledge of Social Justice Issues: A thorough understanding of social justice topics, including but not limited to racial justice, gender equality, environmental justice, and human rights. Networking within Social Justice Circles : Establishing connections with activists, advocates, scholars, and other key figures in the social justice space. Resilience and Perseverance: Social justice topics can be emotionally intense, and the booker should be able to handle challenging conversations and high-pressure situations with resilience and composure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Research and identify potential guests with compelling personal stories that align with the show’s focus on social justice and empathetic storytelling.
• Negotiate booking fees, contracts, and other necessary arrangements with guests and their representatives , and arrange logistics and scheduling for each episode
• Work closely with the marketing team to promote upcoming episodes, emphasizing the emotional impact and importance of the stories being shared.

Qualifications:
• Previous experience in talent booking, talent management, or a similar role, preferably within the YouTube or social media space.
• A passion for social justice and a commitment to promoting human connection through storytelling.
