JOB DETAILS:
• Lusaka Oaktree School is a prestigious School dedicated to providing high-quality education to students in Lusaka, Zambia. LOTS is a full spectrum Cambridge International School, offering Cambridge Primary, Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and A Levels programmes. We are currently seeking passionate and qualified teachers to join our team for the session starting in January 2024.

Positions Available:
• Teacher Assistant: Primary
• Teacher ICT and Computer Science
• Teacher STEM and Robotics – Coding, conversant with various robotics platforms including but not limited to LEGO Mindstorm, VEX, Raspberry Pie etc.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (Master’s degree preferred)
• Teaching certification or license
• Experience in teaching the specific grade level or subject area
• Knowledge of the curriculum and instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Commitment to professional development and continuous learning
• IT Proficient

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement creative lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the teaching and learning experience
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
• Participate in professional development opportunities
• Offer After School Activities
