JOB DETAILS:
• Fantastic opportunity to work with Central Global Uplink ( www.cguit.io) as we expand our presence in Zambia and greater Africa.
• We are creating a tech ecosystem in Zambia to enrich the lives of local software developers by providing the necessary tools to make them globally competitive.
We are looking for creative thinkers that are excited about the opportunities that stable internet, Blockchain, AI and full stack software development are bringing to Africa.

Main objectives:
• To research the Zambia technology environment and gather data to make business decisions
• Use research findings to formulate a strategy and implement a plan to build a local tech ecosystem
• To coordinate ongoing operations

Research
Surveying/Interviewing
• Universities/colleges on Information Technology curriculum
• Employers on systems implementation and IT requirements
• Students on employment aspirations and additional education requirements to
compete globally

Operations
• Coordinating courses in our Zambia office
• Coordinating co-working space
• Coordinating Information sessions and Hackathons
• Recruiting software developers into our ecosystem
• Coordinating software developers for a range of product builds

Requirements:
• A proactive mindset with entrepreneurial aspirations
• A University qualification/degree in a related field of IT/Engineering
• Preferably software development experience- building products across a range of languages
• Great communication skills in writing/speaking
• Confident self starter with good time management skills
