Southern Water and Sanitation Company Limited (SWSC) now invites bids from eligible and qualified contractors for the Rehabilitation of 4000 Meters Munzuma Rising Main, Installation of Allied fittings and Pump Sets for Munzuma Water Supply network in Choma District, Southern Province.

The method of procurement is Open National Bidding process as specified in the Zambia public procurement Act number 8 of 2020 and its regulations of 2011.

Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the Purchasing and Supply Office, Southern Water and Sanitation Company Limited Po Box 630617, Southern Lodge, Choma, Zambia from 08:30 ours to 16:30 hours. Telephone number + 260 213 220001. Only sealed offers submitted on or before the given dead line will be accepted. Consequently electronic offers will not be accepted.

A complete set of the bidding document may be obtained by interested bidders upon a payment of a Non-Refundable fee of ZMW 500.00 or its equivalent in any freely convertible currency.

The method of payment will be by cash or banker's cheque. All bids must be accompanied by BID SECURITY OF NOT LESS THAN 2% of the bid price dully signed and sealed by the guarantor(s).

Bids must be clearly appropriately sealed, bound and clearly Marked and boldly labeled (MWDS/SWSCICHO/01/2022) must be deposited in the tender Box at Southern Water and Sanitation Company Limited, Head office, Southern Lodge Livingstone Road, PO Box 630617. Choma District, Southern Province on or before Friday 23 May 2022.

The closing date for the receipts of bids is 23 May 2022 at 10:00 hours, bids will be opened immediately thereafter in the conference room at Southern Lodge: Southern Water and Sanitation Company Limited, Head Office, Livingstone Road, PO Box 630617, Choma District, Southern Province, Zambia on 23 May 2022 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.
