The Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation has set aside funds in the 2022 budget for the implementation of the construction of 26 Water borne Toilets in some selected rural public institutions in 4 Provinces as follows: Copperbelt, Southern, Northern and Muchinga Provinces.
The Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation now invites sealed bids from interested Contractors for the "Construction of 26 Water borne Toilets"
Lot No – Province Districts
Lot 1; Copper belt Province
Lot 2: Southern Province
Masaiti, Mpongwe, Lufwanyama, Kalulushi Choma, Chikankata, Zimba, Siavonga, Gwembe Lot 2: Southern Province
Choma, Gwembe
Chikankata, Zimba, Siavonga,
Lot 3 :Northern Province
Kaputa, Lupososhi, Mpulungu, Senga Hills, Nsama, Lunte, Mbala , Mungwi
Lot 4 :Muchinga Province

The bidding process will be conducted through the Open National Bidding procedures specified in the Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020, Part V Section 39 (2) and the Public Procurement Regulations No. 63 of 2011.

Bids must be delivered to and placed in the tender box at the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation, P.O Box 50288, at the foyer of the 3rd Floor, Mukuba House, Dedani Kimathi Avenue Lusaka, on or before Tuesday, 10th May, 2022 at 10:30 hours local time. Bids must be appropriately bound, sealed and labelled. Bidders are required to submit one (1 No. original and four (4 No.) copies of their bids.
Bids will be opened in the Conference Room at the Ministry of Water Development and Sanitation in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. Late bids shall not be accepted.
All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in form of either an Insurance Bid Bond or a Bank Guarantee of not less than 2% of the bid sum and it MUST be in the format provided in the Solicitation Document.
