Bidding will be conducted through the Open National Bidding procedures as specified in the Zambia Public Procurement Act No. 8 of 2020 and the Public Procurement Regulations of 2022 SI No. 30

3. Interested and eligible bidders may obtain further information and or inspect bidding document from

the Head, Procurement Unit at Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development, PO Box 50236, in Ridgeway Area, Fairley road, Lusaka, Zambia. HOWEVER, TELEGRAPHIC AND OR ELECTRONIC BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

A complete set of Bidding Document in English language may be purchased by eligible bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ZMW1,000.00 or its equivalent in any freely convertible

currency at the prevailing exchange rate in cash or Bank Certified cheque.

4. All bids should be appropriately bound, sealed and bold labelled clearly MSMED/PU/G/01/2022

-Tender for the supply and delivery of Four (04No.) Motor Vehicles to the Ministry and addressed to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development Lusaka. The bids shall be valid for a period of ninety (90) days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration duly signed by the Power of Attomey.

5. The bids must be deposited in the tender box at office of the Head-Procurement Unit, Ministry of

Small and Medium Enterprise Development, next to RTSA Offices in Ridgeway, between Government and Fairley Road, Lusaka, Zambia on or before Friday 8 July, 2022 at 10:00 hours local time.

6. The closing date for the receipt of bids is Friday 8th July, 2022 at 10:00 hours local time.

Submission Procedure

Bids shall be opened immediately thereafter at the Procurement Unit, Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development, next to RTSA Offices, between Government and Fairley Road in Ridgeway Area, Lusaka Zambia in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend. LATE OR ELECTRONIC BIDS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
