Who are we?
Media 365 is a 100% female owned, award-winning creative consultancy agency. Based in Lusaka, Zambia, we work with local and global clients in the public, private and non-profit sectors since 2008. We design and implement projects and campaigns using a design process that creates impact.
The Content Unit is primarily responsible for producing print, audio and visual materials in line with client expectations and required delivery format.
The Content Unit works with a variety of clients, on both long term production pieces and one-off commission work.
Media 365 has a core team of staff who work under the Content Unit, but from time to time will engage the services of Consultants and Freelancers to support the delivery of various project objectives and deliverables.
We are seeking ambitious, hardworking and creative freelancers to occupy various roles in our Production Crew.
Video Editors and Assistants
The Editor is responsible for managing material such as camera footage, dialogue sound effects, graphics and special effects to produce a final video product. This is a key role in the post-production process and your skills can determine the quality and delivery of the finished result. Usually, the Editor works closely with the EP and the Director to achieve the production’s vision.
The Editor must be computer savvy and have extensive knowledge of video editing software. Additionally, you must be able to adapt to rapidly changing technology. Successful TV editors also need a vivid imagination, artistic eye and a creative mindset. Editors must be resourceful enough to rescue less than the best footage. A solid understanding of storytelling techniques, good communication skills and the ability to work well under deadlines are also required.
Organisational Environment
Working closely with all members of the team, expect this to be full on, exciting and results oriented. You will be required to work with all other members in Media 365 content unit.
