JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE:
To assist the Accountant in executing all financial and accounting tasks of the College in order to ensure transparency, accountability and value for money..
DUTIES:
1. Maintains the Ledgers and daily financial transactions;
2. Creates financial documents such as invoices, payables, receivables;
3. Identifying, tracking and correcting discrepancies in ledgers and accounts and from source documents;
4. Undertakes the updating and reconciliation of all ledger accounts;
5. Facilitates preparation of bank reconciliation statements;
6. Processes requests for payments;
7. Issues receipts for monies received
8. Supervises subordinates;
9. Any other duties as shall be assigned by supervisor or delegated authority.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Grade 12 School certificate or its equivalent
2. ZICA Diploma/Technician, or its equvalent
3. Must be a Zambian national;
4. At least three (3) years minimum post-accountancy job experience;
5. Current Member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA)
