JOB DETAILS:
Duties and responsibility for this position will include but not limited to the following.
• Conduct routine sampling and monitoring activities across site locations, including water, soil, and air quality.
• Maintain accurate records of sampling activities and ensure data integrity.
• Collect and analyze data related to water quality, emissions, and other environmental parameters.
• Prepare summaries and reports on monitoring results and trends.
• Monitor compliance with environmental standards and permits.
• Prepare reports for statutory and internal reporting (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date records to meet regulatory requirements.
• Calibrate and maintain field monitoring equipment to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues as required.
• Collaborate with the Environmental team to implement monitoring plans.
• Provide support during environmental audits and inspections.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders on monitoring-related inquiries.

To be considered for the position, one must meet the following requirements:
• Grade Twelve (12) School Certificate
• Minimum Degree in Environmental Science/Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of ISO14001
• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting/ software.
• Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook is a must
• Registered Member of the Engineering Institution of Zambia is an advantage
• 2 years’ experience in a similar position
• Possessing a valid Zambian or SADC driver’s license
