JOB DETAILS:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions at Lusaka Apex Medical University limited (LAMU) under the Diagnostic Unit.
Laboratory Technologist
The job holder will be required to acquire, prepare and analyse samples and perform routine laboratory procedures and instrument/equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities/Duties
• Conduct and support scientific investigations and experiments
• Record and analyze data
• Collect, prepare and/or test samples
• Maintain, calibrate, clean and test sterility of the equipment
• Provide technical support
• Write reports, reviews and summaries
• Keep up to date with relevant scientific and technical developments
• Carry out risk assessments
• Order and maintain stock and resources

Qualifications
• A diploma in medical laboratory technology.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory.

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 12 12:00:00 AM Associate Degree
