Job Title: Legal Officer
Under the supervision of the Commercial Legal Manager, below are the Key Job Responsibilities;
• Monitor expiry of contracts and track renewal process;
• Ensure any changes made to standard contracts are approved before sign off;
• Liaise with external Counsel over day-to-day requirements on instructions sent out as well as ensure information required from the relevant departments internally is provided on time;
• Ensure information requested by debt collectors on accounts assigned to them is provided by Commercial Finance within reasonable time;
• Process search warrants received to ensure compliance with the law before requested customer information is released;
• Accompany IT Expert to Court for production of Call Data Records as and when summoned to appear before Court;
• Assist with administration of company secretarial;
• Ensure timely response to customer complaints received from ZICTA and CCPC;
• Any other responsibilities or tasks as maybe assigned by management.
Candidate Requirements
• Grade 12 Certificate with at least five credits, including English and Mathematics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law with a minimum of two years’ experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.
• A valid practicing license as a legal practitioner is required
