Job Summary:
Apex Veterinary is seeking a motivated and compassionate Mobile Veterinary Assistant to join our dynamic team. The role involves supporting veterinary professionals during mobile veterinary visits, ensuring excellent animal care and seamless service delivery to clients.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures in mobile veterinary settings.
• Provide proper handling and care for animals, including restraint when necessary, to ensure their safety and comfort.
• Prepare and organize equipment, tools, and medical supplies for veterinary procedures and visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of veterinary instruments, equipment, and mobile clinic vehicles.
• Collect and maintain accurate medical records, including patient history, treatment plans, and medication details.
• Administer medications, vaccines, or treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
• Educate pet owners about animal health, preventive care, and post-procedure instructions.
• Support inventory management by tracking medical supplies, restocking, and placing orders as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service, scheduling appointments, and handling client inquiries.

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Diploma or certification in veterinary assistance, animal health, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience working as a veterinary assistant, animal handler, or in a similar role is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of animal behavior and safe handling practices.
• Ability to work in mobile environments and travel to various client locations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and veterinary staff.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift animals and equipment as required.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail for record-keeping and inventory management.
• A valid driver’s license may be an added advantage depending on the scope of travel requirements.

Working Conditions:
• The position involves fieldwork and requires travel as part of the mobile veterinary team.
• Flexible working hours may be necessary to accommodate client appointments and emergencies.
