Position Overview
M31 Research is seeking experienced Nutrition Consultants to join our growing team in Zambia. We are looking for professionals with significant experience working with international organisations, including UNICEF, USAID, and other key donors. The ideal candidates will have expertise in conducting Nutrition Assessments, Evaluations, and providing Technical Assistance, with a focus on improving nutrition outcomes in Zambia.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and participate in nutrition assessments, evaluations, and research projects within Zambia, ensuring the delivery of impactful and high-quality results.
• Provide technical assistance and support to international organisations, government bodies, and other stakeholders in the design, implementation, and evaluation of nutrition programmes.
• Develop and review project proposals, technical reports, and other documentation related to nutrition interventions tailored to the needs of Zambian communities.
• Conduct data analysis and use findings to guide nutrition policy development and programme decisions.
• Engage with stakeholders, including local communities, health professionals, government officials, and donors, to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of nutrition initiatives.
• Stay current with the latest trends, research, and best practices in nutrition, particularly those relevant to the Zambian context.

Qualifications and Experience
• A Master’s or PhD in Nutrition, Public Health, Dietetics, or a related field.
• A minimum of seven years of professional experience in the nutrition sector, with substantial experience working with international organisations such as UNICEF, USAID, WHO, or similar donors.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting nutrition assessments, evaluations, and providing technical assistance in Zambia or similar settings.
• Expertise in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of nutrition programmes, with a focus on achieving measurable improvements in nutrition outcomes.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and presentations.
• Familiarity with data collection tools and methodologies relevant to nutrition evaluations.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
