JOB DETAILS:
Job Description: The Physical Education Lecturer will be responsible for delivering comprehensive education in physical fitness, health education, and sports skills to students. This role involves teaching, curriculum development, student support, and contributing to the academic environment at Rockview University.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical sessions in physical education, sports, and fitness.
• Design, update, and maintain course materials, including assessments, to align with academic standards and curriculum requirements.
Supervise and mentor students, providing guidance on physical fitness and sports development.
• Organize, coordinate, and oversee sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure that all physical education activities comply with health and safety regulations.
• Engage in professional development to stay updated with current trends and practices in physical education.
• Collaborate with other faculty members and school administrators to promote physical education and sports within the institution.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, grades, and progress.
• Promote physical education and sports within the community through outreach programs and public events.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or licensure in physical education (as required by the region).
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant teaching or coaching experience in physical activities and sports.
• Strong knowledge of physical fitness, sports, health education, and exercise science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their fitness goals.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR is preferred.
