The Company
Metal Fabricators of Zambia Plc (ZAMEFA) is a wire and cable manufacturing company for the domestic and foreign markets. Its major operations are in Luanshya on the Copperbelt Province and it is a unit of CBI-electric group under the auspices of Reunert group of Companies which manage a portfolio of businesses in the fields of electrical engineering, information communication technologies and applied electronics Zamefa wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position:
Safety Health and Environmental Manager

Main Duties:
• To plan, control, monitor, co-ordinate, implement all safety, health and environmental protection and pollution control programs
• To develop, maintain and promote a system of rules and procedures to safe guard lives and property.
• To provide expert information and resources to meet specific incident prevention measures
• To create daily, monthly, quarterly and annual safety and health reports.
• Preparation of budget for all safety, health and environmental control requirements on Protective wear, equipment and other Safety and Health Education programs
• To develop safety, health and environmental control training programs for all company employees and contractors as per Zamefa guidelines and procedures.

Qualifications/Experience
• Grade Twelve certificate
• Degree in Occupational Safety and Health Environment or related field
• Conversant with the Integrated Management Systems ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• Competent in computer-word, excel, power point etc.
• Three (03) years and above working experience at senior management level
• Good interpersonal skills

Experience in Months: 36

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
