JOB DETAILS:
Primary Responsibilities
To supervise the receipt, identification, registration and preparation of samples for analysis, storage and disposal in accordance with the sample preparation methods,
ISO/IEC 17025 Standard and client’s specified quality requirements. Adhere to quality, safety, health and environmental awareness programs in compliance with the integrated management system and a high moral standard and professional conduct.

Responsibilities:
• To ensure that sample preparers are trained in sample preparation procedures, safe use and operation of the equipment , health and environmental awareness
• To carry out instructions from the Senior Chemist to meet agreed deadlines and communicate to him any relevant information for the client and other interested parties
• To ensure that sample preparation requirements are fully checked and satisfied before submitting them for preparation
• To ensure that samples are prepared in accordance with the sample preparation procedure to meet internal business, quality assurance, quality control and customer specified requirements
• To ensure the completion of any delegated tasks within your scope

Profile:
• Grade twelve (‘O’ Levels) or higher, and/or
• Five years of relevant experience

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education: High School
