INVITATION FOR BIDS

TENDER FOR THE REMODELING AND REFURBISHMENT OF NAMBOARD HOUSE IN NDOLA-FRA/W/03/21

The Food Reserve Agency (FRA) has budgeted for the remodeling and refurbishment of its Namboard House in Ndola.

The Agency now invites sealed bids from eligible contractors. The tender is open to firms that are registered in Zambia as contractors with the National Council for Construction (NCC) in Category B, Grade 3 or 4.

Eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the Procurement & Supplies Unit offices, Food Reserve Agency, Plot 7419, Manda Road, Industrial Area, Lusaka. The telephone numbers are 260-211-286097/286106.

This tender has preferential procurement margins for bidders registered with the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) as follows:

Citizen influenced companies - 4 percent

Citizen empowered companies - 8 percent

Citizen owned companies - 12 percent

Submission Procedure

The bids should be appropriately bound, sealed and bold labeled "Tender for the remodeling and refurbishment of Namboard House in Ndola" and addressed to the Procurement Coordinator, Food Reserve Agency, Plot 7419, Manda Road, Industrial Area, P.O. Box 34054, Lusaka.

There will be a mandatory site visit and pre-bid meeting at 11.00 hours on Thursday 3rd June 2021 at Namboard House situated at Plot No. 225 Buteko Avenue in Ndola, Copperbelt Province.

The bids must be deposited in the Tender Box at the reception area, Plot 7419, Manda Road, Industrial Area, Lusaka, on or before Friday 18 June 2021 at 10:00 hours.

The closing date for the receipt of bids is Friday 18th June 2021 at 10:00 hours and any bid received after the time and date stipulated above will not be accepted. The bids will be opened thereafter in the Board Room, in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.
