JOB DETAILS:
JOB SUMMARY
To supervise, direct and control plant operations in order to ensure effective and efficient repairs, servicing and maintenance of plant and machinery to sustain operations at Newcrest Lime Limited.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures effective and efficient maintenance of all electrical equipment in the plant for maximum availability through properly coordinated preventive maintenance program.
2. Initiate, develop and recommend medium and long term spare requirements to facilitate maintenance work.
3. Enforce all statutory and domestic regulations relating to safe working practices in order to ensure safety of workers and equipment.
4. Ensure proper maintenance of records for all activities taking place in the repair and maintenance of all plant machinery so as to maintain a good inventory of maintenance.
5. Ensure that all the electrical components of all projects undertaken by the company are executed to the desired standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
1. Full grade 12 School Certificate with atleast a credit or better in English and Mathematics.
2. Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering
3. Fully paid up member of EIZ
4. Ten (10) years work experience in Lime production or other related industries.
5. Not less than 35 years old.
