NFC Africa Mining PLC (Chambishi Mine) an international mining company with its core business being the development of non-ferrous metals and mineral resources in Zambia. In our quest to continue supplementing Goverment effort by creating more local jobs, we seek to employ suitably qualified, innovative and dynamic individuals to fill the vacant position above:

Job Brief
The Mining Technician will be responsible for delivering and controlling mine planning for the growth of NFCA SEOB Mine and this will also include any mine design requirement. The Mining technician also be responsible for tracking production KPIs and advice personnel accordingly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• The duties will include but are not limited to the following:
• Preparations of annual plans Development of Mine Plans
• Ensure that employees and contractors work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner.
• Liaison with processing personnel on material movements and targets
• Generate daily reports of operations
• Provide Management with timely reports on mining operations

QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
• Grade 12 school certificate
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University;
• Registered with Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ) Understanding and interpretation of geological information is essential;
• Project assessment and financial evaluation essential; and > Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Excel and also mine planning packages.
