JOB DETAILS:
Diamond Media is looking for two self-motivated, versatile, and articulate News Reporters to work from our Livingstone and Mongu bureau offices respectively under the Newsroom Department.

Core Responsibilities:
• Generating news leads and story ideas
• Report on news events live (NewsOnTheGo)
• Produce mini documentaries from time to time
• Sole responsibility of managing news stories of the respective region (Province)

Skills Needed:
• Problem solving
• Effective communication
• Impeccable time management
• Ability to film using the state-of-art cameras
• Ability to adapt to use of sophisticated carry-on portable gadgets for live broadcast
• Proficiency in professional editing suites such as Adobe Premier, use of Microsoft Office and Excel
• Self-starter – innovative and has initiative
• Ability to drive and holder of a valid driver’s license
• Strong and versatile writing abilities with high grammar accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to manage timelines, deliverables and workflows

Qualifications:
• Diploma in Journalism
• 2 – 5 years of work experience in a relevant field
• Having worked in news, creative, broadcast or production teams will be an added advantage

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
