JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
Under the Supervisor and direction of the Senior Engineer, the Trainee will provide technical support and develop the Lubes department. Assistant to monitor the performance of the lubricants through oil analysis and recommend necessary action to correct shortcomings.

Summary of Key Responsibilities;
• Assist to ensure customers have adequate stocks of Lubricants
• At times under the head of the Senior Engineer liaise with Engineering to ensure that Lubricant facilities at customer sites are being maintained in good working condition.
• Assistant to prepare weekly plans and feedback on your visits to customers
• Working closely with the Safety Manager, ensure waste oils at Customer sites are being disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

Qualifications and Experience
• Fresh Graduate with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Health Safety Environment, and Quality or Mining Engineering
• Must have graduated with either a Distinction or Merit in any of the above fields
• 1-2 years of working experience in Mechanical Engineering or Health Safety Environment will be a plus
• Must be conversant with Word, excel spreadsheets
