JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of job
To deliver high quality customer service to clients and ensure high service standards are maintained within the banking hall.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensures customers are directed to correct counters for assistance.
• Resolves enquiries by identifying quick-kill queries and resolving them directly with the customer.
• Observes manning of cashiers/inquiries counters and provides feedback to Branch Manager or team leader when counters are not adequately staffed throughout the day.
• Ensures good physical appearance of branch image (inside and outside).
• Assesses customer needs and facilitates their resolution thereof.
• Implements and maintains the Branch Service Plan, Standards and Service Targets.
• Attends promptly to customer complaints and quick resolution of the same.
• Ensures adherence to service standards.
• Introduces and maintains effective merchandising.
• He/she is always ready to serve customers and dresses in a manner that is professionally appropriate.
• Understands the needs and wants of the customer.
• Provides customers with solutions and alternatives to satisfy their needs and wants (sell and cross sell).

Qualifications and experience
• Grade 12 Certificate with 5 ‘O’ levels with credit or better in Mathematics and English.
• Diploma in Business Administration, Banking and Finance or any relevant business field.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience in Sales or Product Development in a Retail Banking environment.
• Proven experience in managing and reporting on business sales/financial results.
