JOB DETAILS:
JOB OPPORTUNITY – ACCOUNTANT
A Micro-Finance Institution requires a suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the position of Accountant.

Qualifications
• Degree in internal auditing, financial accounting or financial management (essential).
• Three years of work experience in a micro-finance and internal audit environment.
• Three years of fraud auditing experience.
• Exceptional accounting skills i.e. ability to prepare financial reports and statements for a Micro-Finance Institution.
• Experience in banking and financial services regulations

Responsibilities
• Assessing company financial risk.
• Safeguarding assets.
• Gathering and analyzing data.
• Checking the accuracy of financial reports.
• Auditing the efficiency of business processes.
• Ensuring the business adheres to policies, procedures, legislations and regulations.
• Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
