ActionAid Zambia (AAZ) is part of the ActionAid Global (AAG) Federation, sharing common values and aims to drive social change towards a just, equitable and sustainable world. AAZ works with the marginalized, excluded women and young people, their organizations, and social movements to address the structural causes of social injustice, gender inequality and poverty.

MEMBERSHIP TO ACTIONAID ZAMBIA GENERAL ASSEMBLY
ActionAid Zambia (AAZ) is looking for suitable individuals to be members of its General Assembly.
The General Assembly (GA) has the responsibility for providing the strategic direction to enable AAZ achieve its objectives. The General Assembly meets once (1) a year.
We are particularly interested in individuals with skills in Human Resources Management with a bias in Governance, Finance, Law, community mobilization and Fundraising and policy development, among others.

The Assembly shall have the following powers and functions:
• To approve the Association’s values, vision and mission.
• To approve the Association’s overall direction and strategy.
• To approve the Association’s logo and trademarks.
• To engage in and contribute to the development of organizational policies developed within the framework of the strategy.
• To appoint the external auditors.
