JOB DETAILS:
Assistant Construction Supervisor
Yalelo is seeking a hardworking, innovative, and diligent Assistant Construction Supervisor with supervisory experience.
Location: The role will be primarily based in Siavonga
The Right Fit candidate will:
• Ensure each construction project is completed in accordance with the schedules set by the construction supervisor.
• Coordinate building inspections.
• Recommend cost reduction initiatives while maintaining required quality and productivity.
• Analyse construction problems and recommend immediate resolutions.
• Attend educational workshops, trainings, and conferences for professional growth
• Identify slippages or delays in constructions and adjust schedules to meet deadlines.
• Identify milestones and problem areas and recommends preventive actions.
• Work with Construction Supervisor to develop project plans, quality assurance plans and health and safety plans.
• Responsible for the Health and Safety of the Team on duty
The Assistant Construction Supervisor Must Have:
• Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate
• Certificate in Construction or any other related training
• Member of EIZ
• 2 years of experience in General Construction
• Advanced Excel, Microsoft Project
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 24
Level of Education: Professional Certificate
