JOB DETAILS:
The Golden Valley Agricultural Research Trust (GART) is a Public-Private Partnership Research Institution involved in Applied and Adaptive Research.
GART wishes to invite applications for the following vacant position:
Job title: Assistant Farm Manager – Livestock
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
• A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Agriculture – Animal Science major, from a reputable institution with 3 to 5 years industry related experience.
• Experience in aquaculture will be an added advantage.
• Must be able to provide technical support in the management of livestock breeding and production systems.
• Must be able to collect and document livestock husbandry data for management decision making.
• Should be able to effectively disseminate livestock management messages.
